Hi gals

I was wondering how expensive tampons and pads are in europe? I'm thinking about taking enough to last me the two months i'm there but if they are not that expensive i'd rather just buy there. I'm not really picky about brands and the like

I am laughing so hard.. I knew once I saw Patricks name beside a "for women only" post, there was going to be some good entertainment!

I don't remember them being outrageously expensive but I do remember in countries where you didn't know the language, it was sometimes tough deciphering what was what - the brands are different etc. I would take some as backup and save them to use when you can't find anything else (found it hard to find drugstores, pharmacies in many places in Italy).

Name brands that we know, are more expensive ( like Always and Tampax) and the cheaper brands are the ones common to the country.

I brought waaay more than i needed, which was good b/c i did'nt want to spend extra euros on tampons.

Just figure out how many times you'll get it and allot a certain amount of tampons/pads per day and use accordingly.

I checked at the online grocery stores in the UK and they have my brand. They are slightly more expensive than at home but hey...I can handle the extra two bucks.

I'll only take a few with me to cover any surprises.
