I will be traveling to England and will be there for the World Cup Qualifier on October 8 and 12. I was wondering how I can get tickets for this event and about how much the tickets are? Also what are the conditions in Mancheser during this time? Is it crowded and are there hotels/hostels available? Thanks Harris

Weather in Manchester could be anything at that time of year. That said, I'd be inclined to say that it could be cold and wet, so bear that in mind. Hotels won't be a problem, just book in advance and be prepared to pay. Think this link could come in handy for either qualifier though: www.thefa.com/England/SeniorTeam/NewsAndFeatures/Postings/2005/06/TicketingDetailsPolandAustria.htmBasically, if you join that site (£50 or so) you get the guaranteed option to buy a ticket at face value. This is the easiest way to get them, as tickets will sell out pretty quickly otherwise - if you aren't in the UK you could have some real trouble getting them. Failing that, there are a lot of tout sites around - a quick google will bring up a multitude of them.
