I have looked on the net a little bit, but is there a guideforsouthamerica dot com, or something that is as good as this but just for south america. Thanks Guys.

Not that I know of (not saying there isn't though).
If your planning on backpacking South America, many of the tips and adivce found on the boards still apply. I do know that we have a good group from various parts of South America, so if you post a Q in Odds and Ends, I'm sure you'd get an answer. Just don't take over the board or anything, it's still a Europe-centric board! ;D

ewallartist, your best bet for a similar forum for travels in South America is probably thorntree.lonelyplanet.com. As Doug mentioned this is primarily devoted to travels in Europe, but I'm sure no one would mind if you asked the occasional question. However, it's likely that the group here would only have very limited information on S.A. so might not be much help to you. Cheers!!!
