I want to bring my ipod with me and I was wondering if I need an adapter for it to charge in Europe. Im not too familiar with the whole different voltage thing.

A few comments on your question......
I don't have the technical spec's on the IPods available at the moment, but I strongly suspect this is configured to operate from 100-240 VAC. Check the nameplate on the power cube or charger, as this should clearly be listed.
Apple offers a Worldwide Travel Adapter set for about $59.00 Cdn, which has all the plug adapters you will need to operate just about anywhere in the world. This set is apparently configured to operate with the Charger that is supplied with the IPod (as well as the Mac Laptops), so you may want to head to your local Apple dealer and pick this up before your trip. The Apple dealer should be able to provide full information on this.
Sorry I couldn't provide more specific information, but hope this helps anyway. Good luck with this and happy travels!!!

The iPod comes equipped with a transformer which can take any currency plugged into it and recharge the unit with no problems. You will need a plug adapter, though. Apple sells this as Eagle mentioned, but in my opinion it is overpriced. You can get the same plug adapters and electronics stores for cheaper. I bought this adapter set from Apple but it was really only three or four different adapters x 2 for six or eight total or something like that. The second set is nice to have, I guess, but I have never used it.
Keep in mind, though, that the plugs in continental Europe are different from those in the UK.

radio shack...i think it was about $12. it is a small box that has pop-out plug adapters for uk, europe, and australia/new zealand/south america. like pretty much ALL apple products, the adapter they offer is quite a bit overpriced...except the ipod--worth every penny! i'll be enjoying mine while i'm over there as well!
