This is sort of two subjectedededed Do trains run normally on Easter? We wont be celebrating it, so it make sense for us to travel then since everything will be closed anyways. Looks like Between Lucern and Brugges. Is it ok to travel through france right now? We unfortunatley scraped Paris due to the rioting for now, any thoughts on the dangers of passing through? Thanks!

In France they withdrew the new law the students where protesting against, so everything should be calm.

i wouldn't count on that. once the "protesters" know that the demonstrations can force changes, the demands will likely increase. - d In France they withdrew the new law the students where protesting against, so everything should be calm.

We will see the next coming days, but these demonstrations where different than the riots that took place last year.
