My best friend wants to go wine tasting in Boredeaux, I don't know exactly where or anything, but is it expensive? We're definitely not looking for any super fancy places, but I just don't know at all what things like that cost.

Any 'cave de vin' should be free and they are quite abundant in bordeaux (and indeed in many places in france). however that's not overly entertaining. some do make you pay a euro for a glass. otherwise you can do a wine tasting tour. just go to the TIC and book. they leave in front of the office daily... i believe you can do a half day or a full day tour... don't remember how much it was (i think 15-20 euros). we went to st-emilion and it was fantastic. got to see the village of st-emilion as well which was great - its over 1000 years old. very cool.
