Hair appliance usage!

OK, not to sound too female, but if I must leave my macbook at home to not worry about theft or blowing out-fine. But I must have usage of my hairdryer and flatiron while in the hostels/hotels! I'm just wondering what I should be looking for for france-austria,netherlands
as far as a converter and adapters and any suggestions on online places to buy?

garbagegirl, I'm assuming your "hair appliances" are designed for only 115 VAC?
