Hiya All!
I just started buyin my travel equipment. I picked up an Asolo Navigator 70 Travel Pack. I was looking at Eagle Creek like everyone has been suggesting, but it was cheaper, larger, and just seemed... eh... better to me. It was a decision made after a lot of talking - hopefully no one has any bad opinions of it. Even has a toiletries kit to it.
I also bought some travel sandals - well, sandals I plan to travel with. Keen Newport Sandals. _VERY_ comfortable, rubber covering the toes to keep from... well, I guess insulting anyone. www.notesfromtheroad.com/Traveler/Detail/KEEN_Newport_Sandal_-_Mens.html
I plan on taking off for Europe for 6 months within the next two semesters. Probably after I've had two semesters of Spanish courses. I think I'll probably do a little studying in Spain, see if I can hook up with a family or something.
I know this isn't the place, but since this is my first post - thought I'd share a little about myself. 21, born and raised in Vancouver. Been to a lot of places in North America, been to Hawaii more times than I can count. Former 2nd Lieutenant in the Reserves (Yes, even at 21). Lots of history, currently gunning for either the VPD or RCMP. I know recruiting officers with both, and those officers said even at 21 I'd have no problem being recruited... so... before I'm locked into a career I'll absolutely love, I thought I'd get out the explorer in me!
