Hi everyone! After all the help I received with route planning, I figured this was the best place to ask my next question: where can I find wrinkle-free clothing that can be worn by a 20-year-old (me) and not look ridiculous? So far, I have only come across long flowing skirts and tunic-like tops on websites such as travelsmith.com. Has anyone ever found great travel clothes for a younger set of backpackers? Specifically, I'm looking for a nice pair of pants, preferably that doesn't taper at the ankle, and maybe a skirt. Thanks!

Hi Katie,
Your best bet is to check the outdoors stores - the ones that deal with camping, hiking etc. They have a ton of that stuff. Also, the big athletic stores have it as well.
Sometimes you can find them in regular stores. I do the grab test - grab a handful of the fabric and crunch it up and see if it wrinkles or looks OK.
Skirts are great as well, I like sundresses even better actually cause you don't have to match a top to them and they are small enough that can just wash them in the sink, give them and shake and hang them and they are ready to go!

I found some at Banana Republic, Target, Armani Exchange and Ross Dress for Less. When I went to specialty travel (or gear) shops it always seemed so expensive. Maybe I didn't go at the right time. Also, the other day at Walmart, I saw a nice looking travel sundress. IMHO Hey, Kim I do the same test.
