Hi Nitsansh,
I'll still be 26 in April thru June, so I still qualify right? Don't turn 27 till July, oh my, that sounds old:)
thanks for all the advise, Sheldon

I'm afraid not. You should be UNDER 26 on the day of validation to be eligible for youth pass or ticket.

I turned 27 in Europe as well. I had a youth pass for the beginning couple months-you just have to be 26 on the first day you use it.
Once that pass expired, I had an adults pass.
Like I said previously though, we had a few different passes as we were travelling for 7 months (ScanRail, BritRail etc.)

As far as I know, you should be under 26 when you validate the pass to use a youth rail pass. I didn't have first hand experience like Kim, though... I used a Eurail Youth Pass while I was just 25...

Yep, exactly. You just have to be 26 on the day you validate it-you can turn 27 the next day and it's not a problem. Once you are done that pass though, you have to go to an adult one.

Thanks everyone. I think i have a tentative itinerary now. I'll probably have more detailed questions in a month or so.
Cheers, Sheldon
