Hey Kim, Can't remember ( and too lazy to go look) if you were into Ireland at all? Thinking maybe with 3 1/2 weeks, instead of heading back up into Scotland for 10 days or so.....maybe ought to jump over to Ireland. Have never researched this at all, am 'thinking out loud blindly' and don't know the first thing about it. Where to go, what to see, what not to miss, etc. Have you any info or web sites to head me off to on this one?

That's weird that you should say that cause I was going to suggest it to you.
I think you would really like it, great atmosphere in Ireland, esp. in places like Galway etc.
Dublin wasn't that interesting for me but I loved the rest. Great country.
I would definatly get one of those cheap Ryan Air flights-we took the ferry and it was so expensive and rocky. I think the flights end up being cheaper than the ferry, how weird is that? I just looked and it looks like they start at 20 pounds and fly from Gatwick airport.

Judging from your pictures, you like the UK, so you will probably like Ireland! I have only been to Dublin and loved it - reminded me of Boston. Also took a daytrip to Glendalough which was really neat. The west coast sounds amazing and I'd love to see it some day!
