I am entering Europe through London, then going to France, Germany, Austria, Italy, southern France, Spain, then back up to London to return home and I am doing this in 8 months. Since I am entering the EU and returning home via London, that is the only place that my passport will be stamped. Will they think that I have been all that time in London illegally? Is it necessarry to get my passport stamped in all the countries? Will it be a problem? Do I have to mess with visas? I guess I'm a little paranoid. Please clear this up for me.

No, shouldn't be a problem at all. They will ask you when you go through customs at Heathrow what your plans are so I'm sure they will have it on file.
We flew in and out of Amsterdam and we travelled around for 7 months and didn't have any hassles at all.
We only got our passports stamped in Dublin and Prague, just ended up that way. No one ever even looked.
If you aren't planning on working, you won't need any visas. Don't know where you are from but if you are Canadian and plan on going to Prague, you will need to get one. Other than that, unless you are planning on staying over 3 months in one country, you will be fine.
