Hello. My friend and I are planning a trip to Europe next summer. We'll probably be there for about two months, from mid-June to mid-August. The problem I have is that I have no idea if our itinerary is too full for the amount of time we have. We are currently planning on going to (though we have no idea for how long, since we're in the very beginning stages of planning) England [probably just London], France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands [probably just Amsterdam]. This means approximately a week in each place plus travel in between the places, which could be tough for a place like Italy, since we already have about 4 cities that we wish to visit. I'm trying to decide which countries/locations to cut out, but I can't figure out which one, as they all seem perfect.
This will be our first trip to Europe on our own (we've been to Ireland, Scotland, and Italy previously with family or school) so I don't want to skip some of the "must see" things. But I also don't want it to turn into a massive sight-seeing tour in which we only see the capitol cities and then we're off to another country. Ack. If anyone..could tell me anything about how to balance out the trip so that we can see everything without rushing [it is a *vacation* after all], I would be most grateful. Thank you in advance.
