I am traveling with 3 other companions in the month of June. We are starting in London, then Madrid and we will end up in Greece. My question is where should we go once we get in the cities (places to see, eat, etc.). I want to do the 'touristy' things, but I also want to go off the beaten path and experience the culture. Any suggestions on where to go in the big cities of europe? Thanks!

Without being rude, probably your best bet is to pick up a travel book. they generally will give you the touristy stuff to do and some specialize in things to do off the beaten path.
Otherwise, try to narrow down your question to a specific city. Asking such a vague question as you posted will usually result in few if any helpful responses.

In general, big cities are not the places you should go for "authentic culture". Local festivals in the province are your best bet. Ask at the tourist information office or consult a good guide book for information on locations and dates.
During my 2-weeks visit in Spain I hit 3 festivals just by chance. Those at Andalucia were particularly interesting.
