Me and my friend are going backpacking for a month its our first time and we dont have any idea what to take, we'll end up taking all out stuff and leaving it everywhere...what things do we need to take? without taken to much, if that makes any sence.

ROSE, Could you provide more specific information on your trip -- when, where and for how long. Where do you plan on stayng in each location, how do you intend to get from place-to-place, etc. Having this information at hand would make it easier to offer suggestions to you.
As mentioned in the previous posts, there's lots of good information in the many replies already posted on this Board. I'm sure everyone here would be happy to help you with this.
