Are they worth it? Are they fun? It's kind of too late, since I bought the pass, but I might as well know. I'm doing Britain and Ireland with a friend on our own, because we have some family and stuff, but then we are doing a circuit of western Europe with Stray. It sounded good because we had the choice of doing toury things and how long we wanted to stay, and it was going most of the places we wanted to go, as well as the fact that they book places to stay, but what are some things I should watch out for? Better deals I can find and things to avoid. I already have the pass, it's by train, so don't be too hard on it please.

I think it's a good idea. Probably the best parts of independant and organized tours. The down side is that you have a pre-set itinerary, but you control the tempo. Most of the logistic stuff, which is nightmare for some, is taken care of, which saves you lot of time. Moneywise, it's usually a good bargain.

One suggestion: Take some time off the tour for "do it yourself" travel and see whether you like it. If I have details of the tour I may have more suggestions.
