I am about to purchase a one way ticket from Gulfport, Mississippi to Amsterdam from counciltravel.com. It says that Taxes and other fees are not included. Can anyone tell me how much the "taxes and fees" will be on a ticket like this. The ticket is only $250 US dollars from counciltravel.com. Also, when do i pay these taxes and fees? at the airport? Thanks, Daniel Boone PS- ANY INFO about finding odd jobs and places to stay for cheap a few weeks in amsterdam will be greatly appreciated!!

Taxes are one thing but I'm not clear on these "other fees". You really want to clarify this before you buy the ticket. It's too general and it could be anything, which you don't want. Give the counciltravel.com a call before you commit to anything.
I paid my taxes in the airport before I left. They are generally airport taxes and the amount changes from airport to airport. You will probably have to pay them regardless of what ticket you get, so don't worry too much about that.
The "other fees" is a mystery though-let us know what you find out.
