I'm planning on going to Europe for a year.  I will spend most of my time in the UK working and a couple of months touring the rest of Europe.  Since I'm planning on working, I'm thinking of bringing more stuff(work clothes).  I don't intend to lug all my stuff around for the other two months so I'm wondering if I can rent a locker for that time period to put my things away.  And does anyone know approximately how much this would cost me?

you might try e-mailing some independant hostels in uk and ask them for info.  

Where in Texas are you?  i'm in Dallas, and there are places to get travel advice.

When we lived in Seattle, US we made use of the excellent self-service storage locker facilities; we stored large stuff including small furniture for many months, for a low price.

I have never seen such facilities in England, although they may exist. Storage lockers at bus stns etc are pathetic -- max 24 hours, and several pounds for that.

If you work here first, look for such a facility while you are working, or ask one of your work friends who has some spare cupboard space if they would store a bag or two for you. This is difficult if you dont know anyone, but if you have made some friendships, someone should be obliging.
