Hi everyone (newbie here!)
I am planning to go to Scotland for the month of May (2005), and I am really looking forward to it. I have been thinking about it for 4 years now, but it keeps getting put off for one reason or another. This time I'm going to make it happen! I'm glad I have time between now and then to plan, buy and save $$.. The past two weeks MEC and Europe Bound have been like a second home to me. Hehe... ;D
Anyway, the whole point to this thread- There are three packs I am considering. I have had back problems my whole life (had surgery when I was only a wee lass), so the comfort factor has been a very big challenge for me. I have tried on many (MANY) packs, and the three that I have settled on are: The North Face- (Womens) Badlands 65, Asolo Navigator 70, and Gregory Deva (60L). All three seem to fit me well, so now I am stuck- I don't know which to pick. I was leaning towards the Badlands, however after discovering the Asolo Navigator today- I am now leaning more towards that one. It seems much more convenient- it has a detachable day pack, fanny pack, a built-in rain cover (necessary for where I'm going, I was going to have to buy one seperately for the other packs) among other highlights. Does anyone have any experiences with these packs? I'm curious to know. I'm going to try the three on a bunch more times before deciding...
Cheers! ~TML
