Readily accessible everywhere....bring a very small 'emergency' stash and for the rest just buy as you go.

Hi everyone, have you heard of the diva cup. It will be worth your while to buy it, as you will never go back to using tampons or pads again. Just think about how much money you will be saving. It is reusable, it is very economical, just wash it with hot soapy water and reinsert. Check it out for yourself, and you be the judge, and read all the testimonals. www.divacup.comSorry I don't know how to make it a link

If your going for a short time then bring your own. I went for 6 weeks and had more than enough. They really dont take up that much room. If your going for 4 months + then do what DOF says.

Yeah I'd have to agree that for a short time, you're probably best just to take your own. When you've got a lot of stuff to do in a set time frame, it becomes downright annoying having to stop in and get stuff when you could be out and about.

the divacup sounds like a good idea, in theory. but yeah as you said above, i woldnt really consider using it in a public toilet. it doesnt seem very hygienic to me, you only rinse it with water???....i think i'm packing a couple of tampons and a few pads....
another question...i wear pantyliners everyday, and buy these that dont come in individual pockets, but come in a single box...can anyone reccommend a brand that does single pocket ones to carry around?

Hey Guys I jsut thought i would put in my opinion about the diva cup and such things. I have had mine for a good year and although i didnt buy it for travel it would save so much space. Plus I LOVE IT! Probably one of the best things i have ever bought. I dont understand why it makes a difference if your in a public bathroom? Its really the same as a tampon. Although i find it much more comfortable. It lasts for good couple years and is really simple to clean. Some people arent comfortable with things like that. But i would seriously consider it. Probably the best $20 ive ever spent. Plus your really just emptying the cup and putting it back in place. So there shouldnt be any problem with sanitary needs. If im at school or something i dont rinse at all I just wipe it out with toilet paper. They also sell special cleaner for the product but i have personally never used it.

Better bring your own if you're going to be there for a short period of time. It'll be more comfortable if you're using your own brand of products.

I spent some time in Ireland and didn't have a problem finding what I needed there. Although now, with a lot of tampon companies coming out with smaller products that are supposed to be easily concealed, it also makes them very nicely travel sized. If you're going to be there for more than once cycle then I recommend bringing an emergency stash and buying your own while you're there, but if you're just going to be there for a month than bring your own.

Bring your own, because you never know. Some places don't have your exact product.

OB has extreemly nice tampons. They are tiny. You can try a free sample if you go to their website.
