Previously I and others have posted about various ways you can get reserved tickets for super-popular attractions like the Uffizi, where you would otherwise have to spend many hours in line. But here is another method. You can buy a membership that allows you into numerous museums in Florence, and is good for a year. I haven't checked the latest single-ticket prices, but I think about three or four admissions will pay for it, and that's not even considering the fact you get to skip the lines. www.amicidegliuffizi.it/soci_engl.htmlNotice that if you are under 26, like lots of people here, you can get this for 40 Euros for one year.
