I'll be in Europe for 3 or 4 weeks. I'm on a budget and want to know which order to visit the countries and cities to save time/energy/money. Also, should I purchase an open-jaw ticket (but for which countries?) and then stick to a eurailpass for the rest of the trip?
France (Paris) Germany (Berlin, Munich) Italy (Tuscany, Rome) Spain (Barcelona, Madrid) Netherlands (Amsterdam) England (London)
Help?

With less than 28 days, and 9 destinations, you will likely feel a bit rushed. It is doable, but if you lop off one country, I think it would be easier. Any of those destinations could easily use four or five nights. You're also big-city-focused, which I usually am too, but the smaller places have a lot to offer also. So you can keep in mind the possibility of daytrips, or consider dropping a big city and substituting a smaller place.
If you have only three weeks, I'd say it's definitely too much.

Yes, I agree "WillTravel" that three weeks is not enough time. But what about four weeks for those six countries? As for the cities that I've listed, I'm open to change---suggestions then? Thanks for helping my mind spin a few less rpm's...

Hi, Nanner!
it's really impossible to make specific suggestions without knowing more about you. what kinds of things do you want to see? have you been before & enjoyed a particular place? do you have family background that you wish to investigate? do you like theater? do you speak another language besides English?
tell us more about you, so we can make appropriate suggestions.
