Greek Islands - so many to choose from!

Hello
Three of us are going overseas for the first time and we plan on spending our first month seeing Italy and Greece. We were thinking about 7 - 10 days in Greece and the remaining time in Italy.

There are sooo many Greek Islands to choose from how can we possibly decide which to see. I've heard that Mykonos (sorry for the spelling) is the party Island - we don't really want to party that much. We would prefer lying on the beach, seeing some sites and having a good time at night (but nothing to crazy).

Any suggestions PLEASE as I have NO IDEA

I wouldn't say Mykonos is really the party island, but it's probably one of the more pricier ones. Personally, I loved Mykonos, it was one of my favorites. The blue and white buildings, little shops, beaches etc. It is a popular hangout for gay tourists-we didn't know that-but you realize it fast!

You also probably want to hit Santorini.. after hearing tons of good things about it, I wish we had of!
