 Has anyone heard of the temple of Mithras??? SOunds interesting, but was not listed in the major guidebooks (eg Lonely planet). I would like to know if there are any entrance fees and the opening hours etc.. Thanks

It's in 'The City' near Queen's Street. Passed it on a walking tour of that area. As I recall, it is basically just some foundations that were exposed after a bomb fell in the area.....as for entrance fees and times....I think it is just a 'walk up' outdoor site, like a park sort of area. ging Almost positive that London Walks does a 'Roman London' tour which will certainly take in this site.  |
