I know there's a lot of Canadians using these message boards. I'll be in Rome in May, in the middle of playoff season! Are there any good Canadian pubs in Rome to watch some good old playoff hockey?

I do sympathize as a fellow Canadian but I think you might be hard pressed. You might have to just check scores online. Hockey isn't big in Italy-now if it was football (soccer)..!
Who's your team anyway? Boyfriend is Oilers, his dad-the Habs, my dad-Canucks.. I'm a cross between an Oilers and a Canucks-much to my boyfriends dismay.

I've grown to like both teams thanks to all the CBC coverage. Edmonton's exciting to watch - and the Canucks... Markus Naslund is unreal! Leafs are still number 1 though rookie: only thing I can suggest is if you have Internet access maybe checkout the game radio on NHL.com, at least you can listen then.

Well, at least I know my Leafs will still be alive when I come back! But I can respect the Nucks, with their young team and HULKING Todd "Sideburns" Bertuzzi. Patrick - I would've figured the Leafs were #1 in your books. Every leprechaun is a fan of Quinn and Nolan. Hmm, Italy or hockey? As much as I love hockey, I'll go with Italy on this one.
