Anyone ever been or going to the Love Parade in Berlin? I've managed to free up some time in my schedule and plan to make it over there this weekend. I have heard it is a blast, but beyond that I don't know what to expect.
Does anyone care to share past experiences? Or is anyone else going this weekend?

Haven't been to the one in Berlin but have been to the Streetparade in Zurich (same deal) and it was wild! The whole city was basically taken over and that one only gets 750,000 people.
Basically each "float" is a flatbed on a rig with DJ - a mini techno dance party. Everyone in the streets basically goes crazy.
Definately bring bottles of water with you cause it will get hot and crowded!

Haven't been either but my flatmate is going and has already sussed out which over the counter medicines are speed-based just in case they can't score... gives a bit of an indication of the crowd. Expect loads of drunkfuct people! Have a good time, it's meant to be wicked!
