What kind should I bring? I'm going to London, Paris, Berlin, Munich, and Amsterdam and I remember reading about a certain type for the hostels and trains, but I can't recall the dimensions or anything about them. If anyone can help me out it'd be great. Also if you have any personal advice I'd appreciate it.

all you should bring is a sleep sheet. you can either buy one or fold a bed sheet in half and sew... i think there are instructions somewhere on this site.

i took a sleep sheet with me on my last trip. the only place i used it was on a night train where the sheets that were supposed to be there, weren't. the hostels where i stayed include sheets with the price. all you should bring is a sleep sheet. you can either buy one or fold a bed sheet in half and sew... i think there are instructions somewhere on this site.

I would bring a sleep sheet if you plan on being away for more than a few weeks.
Yes, most hostels have their own linen, but a lot of them do charge for their use. Also, some do not give you a choice; you have to use their linen, and are not permitted to use your own. They don't want people tracking in bed-bugs or anything.
It will be a warmer time of year, so that should be all you need. However, I have stayed at many hostels that do not have linen, and I have also stayed at many where I was cold, so I used mine in addition anyways.
(sorry....no ads w/o Kim's permission...as has been the case in your previous posts) Cheers

Hi there!
Well yes, I've folded up a sheet and made a little pouch out of an old pillow case! Truly fantastic and enough for any occasion! Check where you are going, see if linen is included and then way out if its worth it to lug it around! But truly dont buy one, way too expensive! Make one!
