I don't think you can go wrong with any Eagle Creek pack, to be honest.
They are about the same size and both have 2 main compartments (you know how I feel about the top loaders!)
The World Journeys daypack is larger (20L) where the Global Travel Pack's is 10L.
They are both made from the same material so basically if you don't mind a smaller daypack, go for it!

Michelle, I would tend to recommend one with a removable daypack, it's a very valuable feature. You will want to be able to take the smaller pack out with you in the day to carry your camera, lunch etc. Plus, that one looks like a top loader and as I've said before, they are a real pain! You have to dig through everything to get something out.
