Hi, me and my friends are going to have 5 days to spend on the Cyclades islands, any advice on what Islands. We are all university students on a budget, like to party so maybe Ios for a day or two.

If you are into partying, I'd say the best bet for you would be a couple days on Ios and a couple on Santorini. Mykonos is nice but more expensive and gay oriented. I liked Naxos and Paros too but they were quiet.

Thanks, another question should we purchase ferry tickets to the Islands in advance or just at the port? haven't compared the prices but, it might be worth it to look at ticket prices for low cost flights. [it might be surprisingly cheap to fly] |

Go to Ios! Mylapotos beach is great, the night life in the town is awesome and there are tons of fun people. Also, if you get a chance.. go kayaking from Mylapotos beach. My friend and I rented Kayaks and found an empty beach that can't be reached by road (Klima Beach, I believe). So definitely check out Ios if you get a chance  |
