never been to Positano, so can't comment about it. but, the people in CT were much much friendlier than in Nice. the beaches in both of these places are rocky/pebbles.

have only been to nice and thoroughly enjoyed it  kinda refreshing not to have sand everywhere at the end of the day  |

been to both, prefer CT since the towns are cuter but both beaches are just ok
