I'm travelling around Europe with my gf for a month this summer. Right now, our itinerary is set until we get to Italy, where we have 12 days.
I'd like to spend at least 3-4 days in Rome, and spend maybe 2 nights in Cinque Terre, but am not sure what else to check out. We love drinking wine and pretty scenery, and were thinking about spending some time in Florence and Venice. Would this be worth it? Are there any good smaller Tuscan towns that people would recommend (Siena, Lucca, etc..)?
Or even more generally, how would you spend six days in Italy aside from Rome and CT?
