Hello everyone! I'm going to Pamplona in July and will be in Spain for 2 weeks. I'm looking for 2-3 other cities to visit while there, with Barcelona being one. Any recommendations...should I visit Ibiza? I may try and stay away from the south since I'm considedering flying out of some city in Switzerland..but I'm open to suggestions.

ummm, what does "flying out of some city in Switzerland" have to do with staying "away from the south?" seems like a non sequetor to me.
[something has inspired me to think in latin phrases today ;D]
Seville is popular, Arcos de la Frontera (a pueblos blancos) is a beautiful town, but off the beaten backpacker path. [http://www.andalucia.com/province/cadiz/arcos/home.htm]
if you really want to avoid the South of Spain, La Coruña & Santiago de Compostela in Northwest Spain, or Bilbao & San Sebastian in Northeast Spain are nice. [but, Bilbao & San Sebastian are in Basque region. and Spain's troubles with ETA seem to have started again]
Madrid is, of course, a beautiful capitol city.

Ibiza ia an island of two halfs. The party island charging unbelieveably high prices to queue outside a nightclub with overpriced alchopop drinks to PARTY with a load of drunken British students. Loads of sun burned overweight middle aged men drinking from breakfast. Am I being unfair The other half of the island is a medieval town with a general slower pace of life. It is suppose to be very beautiful and have some amazing countryside. You may have trouble finding accomodation in Ibiza in July with all the package holiday crowds. You will have to advance book and prices may be a high.

My choice would be to see Sevilla and Granada. A girl I know from Spain, has offered me to go to Caceres, she says it's really beautiful but to far out of the way to attrack a lot of travelers, so if you interested in History, and a more quiet place, that might be an options as well.
If you like party and go out with a lot of other drunks, Ibiza is a yes.

I am just back from Madrid, and while there I visited Toledo and Segovia, both are very accesable from Madrid (Toledo 1 hour, with a autobus, and Segovia 2 hours by train). So you can do them as a daytrip, while being in Madrid. I liked both places, with Toledo, being a little bit more beautiful. But if you could make you base in Madrid, than there are also options to go to see Aranjuez and/or Chinchon.
If you can leave for a few days, than Salamanca is a must (I didn't went this time, but I will for sure the next time).
