Brugge (Bruges) definitely!
Antwerp is pretty too (main square is impressive, museums good), but if you've never been to either, then choose Brugge first - gorgeous town centre, amazing cathedral, pretty canals and museums. Not to mention the excellent chocolate shops every 10 paces and great cafes with mussels and fries. Yes, you can get them all over Belgium, but they taste better in Brugge!
Out of interest, did you decide to still go to Brussels and then on to Brugge as per your last post (http://pretravel.proboards1.com/index.cgi?board=CCadvice&action=display&n=1&thread=3731) or are you now deciding between these two?

I agree! I loved Bruge, I went on a friend's recommendation and it was worth the trip. However, Antwerp does have some amazing thrift shopping, if that kind of thing interests you  |
