I am currently in Rome, and I will be entering Paris in the next week, does anyone have and suggestions for walking tours in Paris or for the Louvre
I have heard of fat bike tire tours (used to be mike-s bike tours) in paris but i think i prefer walking.
Thanks!

The original London Walking Tours has a 'sister' company is Paris. I took a few of them and enjoyed much. The Montmarte was probably my favorite of the bunch. I'll get you the link. brb Accessed it through the London walks site....about halfway down on the left hand side menus: london.walks.com/ging For the Louvre...unless you are going on a tour I suggest getting the audio guide. It's a quite good one and allows you to explore at your own pace.

I don't think this is going to help you now as I am a bit late with the post, but maybe someone else could use the info in the future. The Rick Steves Paris book has some good do it yourself walking tours for many of the neighborhoods in Paris.

i agree with kelly. it is very easy to do a walking tour yourself. just bring a handy guidebook like rick steves and just wander around. my friend and i just wandered all over paris for a few days and totally enjoyed our time there. the city is very tourist friendly with helpful maps and easy transportation.
