has anyone had an osprey backpack? I tried on the osprey ariel 55, and it was SO comfortable, but i've never backpacked before, so i'm not sure what i'm getting into. Any reviews for this brand?
i'm 5'4'', 110lbs, and i'll be packing europe for 2-3 weeks in the spring/summer. Any suggestions?

I am going to Europe in 10 days for 3.5 weeks, i am using my firends 75L osprey pack and it feels great. It basicly brand new he only used it for 2 weeks last summer. so it saved me a few hundred. Ill let you know how it turns out.

The packs are really nice, but they are heavier than the Eagle Creek packs, and you might be able to carry it on if you fly from New York or something If you have to take small planes to connect it might be a little more difficult. Their suspension is better, not necessarily more comfortable. I dont like them as much because they sit higher on the back, its comfortable, i just dont like it, personal preference. The EC's sit lower, like a traditional backpack, which feels more "at home" for me.
