Hi, I'm guessing most are going to say go to Brugge rather than Brussels, but I'm having trouble finding info on why...? I've heard that Brugge has become rather touristy, but obviously, I really have no idea. Also, how easy is it to get to Brugge?

There are literally hundreds of posts on this! It's a rather regular topic. up at the top of this page is a 'search' link.....search Brugge or Brugges.....either/both will give you a huge amount of info! And if further questions...just ask.

I'm bored, and in case you didn't use the search feature or for others who won't...
Bruges is easy to get to, it's a short trip (I think about 90 minutes) from Brussels by train. Many people enjoy things in Brussels because there can be things to do but often prefer to stay in Bruges. What I mean is Brussels has a nice square and some good museums (depending on taste) but it's not worth staying there for. Instead, Bruges has charm and is a beautiful town to stay in, walk around in, etc. You don't have to skip Brussels as you can easily do it as a daytrip, or even on your way out of Bruges as trains will run through (ie. leave Bruges at 8am, visit Brussels all day and catch a train to your next city in the evening)
