Hey all, im planning three months in Mainland europe, havent planned to much yet, goin to england on the 23rd June till 23rd August staying with rellies, then to europe till november.

Just wondering if anyone been to see the nortehrn liughts?, is Norway or Sweden best?, in regards to travel etc. as well
Are there any good frjords to see in Sweden?

Whats travel like trying to reach places where the northern lights are really visible, and prices etc.

As well this is my itinerary, what do you think?

Just a few comments...

I would highly recommend Norway over Sweden. The fjords are in Norway, and in my opinion the natural beauty in Norway is incredible. Sweden can't compare.

As for the northern lights, I have never seen them because I have only been there in summer, when it doesn't get dark enough. But I have heard that you need to give yourself some time because it is often cloudy and overcast, and this prevents seeing the northern lights. Good luck, though! I would love see them.

Travelling to places to see them is not too difficult. On a clear night, I have heard stories from people in Bergen, Norway being able to see them, but I think to be safe it is best to be further north. Trondheim could be a good place, and another place I enjoyed was Alesund. Both are reasonably easy to get to by train or bus, or by the Hurtigruten coastal steamer, but this will take longer and is expensive.

As for Spain, La Tomatina is in a town called Bunol, and not in Valencia.

Also, you don't mention how you will be travelling between places, so give yourself some time for that. For example, Prague is far from Oslo, so I assume you are planning on flying. And from "North Norway" to Amsterdam on the 20th of November... I don't see it happening in the same day.
