ah yes me and my tangents, ill end up in Africa if i dont watch out "wow spain is so close to morroco, i alaways wanted to go there...." but think ive settled down now, well hopefully. been there, done that. was with mis padres on a trip to Spain in '99. Mom had that same wish: to see Africa. so, the three of us spent a day going to Tangier. personally, i saw no charm in Tangier. [we planned to spend two nights at a charming hotel in Tarifa, going to Africa from there. but, the ferry didn't go from Tarifa. we drove to Algecirus to catch the ferry. because of the schedule being so tight, we didn't get the chance to see much of that charming hotel in Tarifa: Meson de Sancho] Nice, would love to see Madagascar, Egypt, Morocco. Rest of Africa im not so sure about, bit too full on for me. And NO flying from Italy to Spain so no chance of me rewanting to go to Monaco. lol, well for the time being Sadly Por-sha only have tours in German in Leipzig so so can spend the extra time in Berlin. Dissapointed, but hopefully Porsche Stuttgart will pull through.

I've always heard Tangiers is terrible, but much of the rest of Morocco is incredible.

Haha meant nice as in good, its a saying we have in Melbourne. eg "what did you do on the weekend?", "went clubbing", "Nice". Which also leads on to nice touch and nice work. The joys of english lol

the only times i've heard it used, that i recall, is in sarcasm. cool cool, do N.Americans say 'nice' as well any idea how much the train tix cost? there are trains between Barcelona & Valencia that take less than 3 hours, city center to city center. when you fly, you must get yourself out to the airport in time to go trough security, take an hour flight, then get from the destination airport into the city. probably not much time savings. so, if the train tix don't cost more than €10 + the costs of getting to departure airport + costs of getting from the destination airport to where you're going in Valencia, it might not be such a good deal. 10e posting :@ i bough a flight from Barca to Valencia for 10e how crazy is that!!!!

Yeah see your point mate, the train is 30-40E, plane ticket was only $15 aussie, so couldnt pass it up (i've wasted money on far more useless things) . But ill get a better idea of what to do when im there, can always take the train cos its an early flight. Really depends on when Valencia CF (soccer team) play and IF i get tickets my plans for Valenica, i NEED to see some Spanish soccer. I need to be there regardless on Jan/16th anyway to fly to Seville. Cheers for your advice, very short distance to fly so kind of negates the time saved by going through security and such.

To get to the airport in Madrid is no problem, you can reach it by Metro. It will cost you about half an hour from the center of town, and 1 euro for a ticket for the metro (and 0,61 cents, if you use it as part of a 10 trip-ticket, which are best to use in Madrid anyway )
In Valencia it's best to take the train (20 minutes, and for the price of just over 1 euro, it's not a big investment).
To get back on the trains between Madrid and Valencia, that tend to use 3 and a half hours, and cost around 40 euros (a little less, I think). So maybe you loose a little bit of time, but you saved yourself some money.
If you need to see Spanish Football (don't call it soccer ... please), than Getafe might be a good place to inform for tickets. It's a place very near to Madrid (but not as popular as Real of Atletico). The big plus is that you can use the Metro to get there (only thing is it's the Metro Sur, so a different Tarif, not really expensive, but you have to keep it in mind, when you are buying tickets for the metro) or you can take a train (go to Atocha renfe / the big Station just South of the Center (take a look at this place, designed by Gustav Eifel ... yes that Eifel), and get a ticket for the Cercanias (commuter trains) Ida y vuelta (to go, and to come back). I just wonder if the new stadium is finished or not, last time I saw it they where still building it.
P.S. Why am I talking about Madrid, in a topic with the title: Berlin 3,5 days??
