Lugano Switzerland or Como Italy?
Rothenburg, Germany - worth a visit?
Vevey/Montreux/Swiss Riviera region - worth a visit?
Lucerne - worth a visit?
KD Rhine Cruise - is that worth doing or is it too long/dull?
Bacharach castle hostel - anyone stayed there?

I'm thinking about staying at Bacharach overnight, next morning take train to Bingen, KD cruise from Bingen to Koblenz, and train back to Bacharach to spend the night. Worth doing? Able to do it in one day?

Rothenburg is worth a visit, but be prepared for tourists! Don't know what time of year you are going, but this city is postcard perfect, so loads of people go. It's worth it though, very charming!
I did the KD Rhine cruise, there are many different ones. I personally really like it as you could see all the vineyards and castles along the way. Also got to see the Lorelei, a famous legend! I think it was worth it, but it's all about how much time you have and how much money.
