I'm planning a short(ish) trip to Latvia and Lithuania and was wondering if anyone has any advice if it is safe for me as a lone female traveller?
I'm not so concerned about the capitals, Vilnius and Riga but what about in less touristy places?
And what about train travel? I read somewhere that train travel in Latvia and Lithuania is not so great.. And maybe not recommended for women travelling alone. Does anyone have any experiences of this? I'll mostly be using the bus on my trip but for one route I only found a train service.
