How much time do you think is needed to cover Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway?
Thanks Matt

Ha - whoops - Finland...you're right. If I only have a month, is it wise to only do either southern Europe or Scandanavia, and not try to squeeze both in?
Cheers Matt

ive never been but scandanavian countries are expensive. and if i went, i would want to do copenhagen, helsinki, stockholm, oslo, bergen.. these cities are not that close together except oslo and bergen.. and helsinki is just across the river from tallinn, estonia.. which is a cheap and not so touristy place, kind of undiscovered I guess.. and you are also So close to St.Petersburg which is a great destination, you need a visa and be careful! I would leave southern europe for another time. You will have much more fun in Scandinavia I believe! But, I have never been there, just what I have heard.

You can spend a month easily in Scandinavia, but also a month in Southern Europe. It depends a little bit on what you want mean with covering Scandinavia. If that includes seeing places like the North Cape, Finnmark, The lakes in Finland, the Isles on the coast of Norway. (keep forgetting the name). Geirangerfjord, Kiruna, Tornio Valley, Kuusamo and some other places, then you are going to need time. If you are happy with the Capitals, and some other places like Trondheim, Bergen and Tampere, it takes a lot less. Don't forget that from Helsinki, you are really close to Talinn as well (can be done as a daytrip, a very bif river, that is rbrettg, but it's doable)
Personaly I would make the choose to do either the North or the South.
And like it is already said: it's an expensive part of Europe.
