Ok I got a heap of clothes out last night so I can at least get an idea of what to pack, big mistake. I want to take it all yet I can't actually fit it all in my bag: Girls, for 7 weeks (April 5 to May 23) what would you suggest would be a good idea to take - just as rough guideline. I've looked at heaps of packing lists on the internet but would just like some general feedback on what you found was a good amount or came in useful.
Will it be to cold to take a strappy dress for going out at night (under a coat of course). Or are good jeans and a nice top a better idea?

I tend to travel with clothes that mix and match well and will carry me through from morning until evening - hence I wear a lot of black and basic colours. Look at taking clothes that dry quickly, or can be thrown in a tumble dryer without too much damage. Depending on where you go out, most times jeans and a nice top will be fine, but you'll find that you wear your coat only to walk to/from venues then it's warm inside so you take it off. The time of year you're going you'll still find the evenings chilly, so you'll need that coat.
Don't take too much as you'll find you only use the top third/half of you bag and you might find an item or two that you purchase there and get use of while you're travelling, so you'll need room for that.
Have a troll through the previous posts (a few pages back) as there are a couple dealing with this subject.
