I need some must see places to see in Paris. I am planning my trip, and I am compiling a list of places to see. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks. Bret.

Must sees depend on the traveler's interests and budget. My must sees are another person's afterthoughts. I would highly recommend reading a travel guide, such as the Michelin Green Guide to Paris, Lonely Planet, Let's Go, or Rick Steves's Europe Through the Back Door. These contain detailed information on attractions. After reading up on what the city has to offer, you will have a better idea of what is a must see for your particular circumstances. Here are some sites to get you started: Student Universe Paris Guide - this guide is done by a member of the Student Universe Forum. It supplies a good overview of the city. It's a bit dated (the author mentions Francs, but France uses the Euro), but remains helpful overall. The Paris Museum Pass website has an exhaustive list of museums and other architectural attractions. Sidestep, the cheap flight search engine, also has a travel guide for Paris. Navigate the guide by clicking the page links on the left side. Trip Advisor's Inside Pages are written by travelers. You'll find some helpful advice there. If you're still looking for information, I wrote a short page of recommendations. These links should give you a better idea of must sees in the City of Lights. Enjoy!

The forums on Tripadvisor has some great ideas. Thats what I used to plan for my trip. Check posts regarding the top 10 best things to see and do.
I also used the Rick Steves guide book for Paris 07.
