I am in the area of Marseille for 3 nights in early May.
I was just wondering what people's opinions are, should I stay in the centre of the city or is there somewhere nicer nearby to see? I've never been to that part of France before. I was thinking maybe Cannes.
Any recommendations for a quiet village, perhaps?
