Hey all, Can anybody tell me the easiest/cheapest way to get from Carbisdale Castle to Ireland? Preferably southern Ireland. (ie. Dublin) Just trying to stay out of Belfast. Thanks, Joe

Off the top of my head... Fly Inverness-London (Easyjet) Fly London-Dublin (Ryanair) I don't think you'll find cheap direct flights between Northern Scotland and Ireland, and travelling to Glasgow/Edinburgh will take time and cost about the same as flight to London, if you book it early. If you want to get further south, Ryanair also flies London-Cork.
Watch out: IIRC, Easyjet flies to London-Luton, Ryanair from Stansted. I believe there's a bus connecting these airports.

If you fly out of Aberdeen, you can fly with BMI Aberdeen - London-Heathrow - Dublin without changing airport. This could take the same time as the extra travel to Aberdeen. BMI also flies Aberdeen-Birmingham and Aberdeen-Manchester, and from both cities there should be flights to Dublin. Once again, no need to change airport. From Birmingham, there are also flights to Cork, Shannon or Knock.

Stop the press!
Ignore all previous messages... if the price is right, Aberdeen to Dublin with Ryanair is the best connection.
And since Ryanair also flies London-Luton - Dublin, you don't need to change airports for the connection Inverness-London-Dublin.

Thank you very much for the information. I will look into that tonight after work and can hopefully figure this out.
