Hi! Is it worth it to spend the extra money and get a first class (adult) railpass rather than buy the second class (youth) pass? Thanks!

We used both the youth pass for the first part of our trip then the first class adult saver pass for the second part and honestly, I wouldn't say it was worth it.
It gives you more leg room, less seats per car and it's quieter but really, nothing much other than that. Oh, and also it can get more crowded in second class.
Really I think it's worth putting your money towards other things.
I do want to mention though, check out the combinations of who you will be travelling with. I needed an adult pass but my boyfriend who is 2 years younger could have used a youth pass. In that case, it turned out to be the same amount of money to buy 2 first class adult saver passes (good for 2 or more people travelling together) as it would have for one adult first class and one youth second class.

THANKS, KIM!
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF GETTING THE EURAL PASS VS EUROPASS IF I AM GOING TO GO FROM AMSTERDAM-PARIS-BARCENLONA-NICE-INTERLAKEN-VENICE-FLORENCE-ROME AND THEN FLY FROM ROME TO ATHENS. DO YOU THINK I CAN DO ALL THAT IN 22 DAYS?

That's alot for 22 days-factor in travel days as well.
For example, it will take you approx. 12 hours on the train from Paris to Barcelona then another 10.5 hours back to Nice. I would personally save Barcelona for another trip if this is the route you have planned.
The rest aren't bad train rides 4 or 5 hours..but that's way out of your way to go to Barcelona.
I also would skip Athens-I really didn't like it, it was really polluted and dirty.
I would add Brugges, Belgium to your list-it's gorgeous.
This is how I would do it:
AMSTERDAM-BRUGGES-PARIS--NICE-INTERLAKEN-VENICE-FLORENCE-ROME
It will give you time to enjoy places and relax and not spend all of it on the train.
