My itinery looks like this: March:Greece April:Italy May:Spain May+June:France,Belgium,Holland (maybe Luxembourg). What is the best way to get from Italy to Spain. As far as I can tell I should get a train from Italy through Nice etc into Spain. Does anyone know how long this takes and how much it would be? I'm buying Eurodomino passes for Greece, Italy and Spain and an Interail pass that includes France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. I'm gonna start using the Interail pass after I've been in Spain so I won't have any pass or anything for the journey from Italy to Spain. Sorry if this is a bit confusing. Emma Ps for anyone who is staying in the UK I found really cheap flights from London to Athens at www.easyjet.com. Theres loads of other routes too. :-)

Could you tell us non-Europeans what are the conditions of Eurodomino?

Eurodomino Passes give you unlimited travel in one country in Europe. Passes are for any 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 days within a one month period, and are available in first or second class, with special prices for under 26s. There are tickets available for pretty much all the European countries. I'm not sure if people who live outside Europe can buy them or not. For more info look at: www.freedomrail.co.uk/index.cfm?article_id=183. what do you think about the Italy to Spain problem?

Eurodomino is not available to non-Europeans, but there are various country passes. I'm not sure this is a good deal, especially in Southern Europe where transportation is cheap.
However, if you have passes for Italy and Spain, you only need to buy a ticket for the French section of the journey.

Hi Emma, I am planning on going from Italy to Spain, too, and didn't want to use up 2 whole days of my trip and my railpass to make that trip, so instead I'm taking a plane from Rome to Madrid, and I was actually able to find a flight for just over $100. I figure that the train ticket would cost just as much and this way I could save two days of my trip, as well. So my suggestion is to look into planes, too!
