Hey there,
I have tried many times to get this question answered on another board, but to no avail. I am planning to go from either Bari or Ancona to Athens, then returning from Athens to Venice using a eurail youth flexi. Now I know that soemtimes the journey to Venice can take up to 27 hrs, so does this mean I would have to mark off two days of my pass, or just one? Or going from Rome to Bari/ancona, then the ferry might take more than a day, so how many days would I need to mark off? Thank you for any help!!

The Eurailpass is valid only on specific routes and specific companies. It's not valid on ferries to/from Venice to Greece. The regular rules of rail passes apply, including the 7PM rule for overnight trips. If the ferry leaves after 7PM, your pass is valid until midnight the next day. see more details: www.railsaver.com/bonuses.asp#GR
