15-day Eurailpass or 2-month pass ?

I'm going to travel the west europe in coming May to July
about 9 countries in 2 month time

???I' m wondering I should get a 15days used in 2 months pass
or get a 2 month pass used in all 17 countries

I wonder whether i will use that pass a lot
definitely i will go to a lot of cities
but should I take train all the way  
or is there any other convinent transport that are in good price
I mean if I get from city to city in the same country  
in inner city travell

is that coorect if i buy a 2 month pass
then I can always freely unlimitedly take train
even inner city or inter cities

eurail doesn't cover all local transport, in most places.  the public transport in Vienna, for example, is part covered, part not coverred.  it's a mess!  

don't pay a lot extra for the 2-month unlimited expecting it to cover all subways, busses and streetcars.  Check carefully if the cities you plan to visit are covered.
