Are point to point rail tickets time specific? For instance, if I bought a ticket from Paris to Interlaken, and I stop in Bern. Would I be able to check out Bern for a couple hours, and then later head to Interlaken at anytime?

It depends on the ticket type. BIJ allows as many stops as you want in 2 months.

is there a website that explains more about the BIJ ticket? It sounds like something I might be interested in for my trip, but I'm not sure how to get more info Thanks!
